A broad flat face that will take an engraving

A heavy men's ring in 21-karat gold with a broad flat face, taken from the columns at Karnak: deep vertical grooves down the shoulders and a face left perfectly smooth. We leave it plain so it can be engraved later with a letter, a date or a crest, and its weight is judged to be felt in the hand.
